Based in Maynard, Massachusetts, RapidBuyr was a daily deal and e-commerce company focused on the B2B market for small to medium-sized businesses. Along with several daily deals sent to its subscribers, RapidBuyr offered competitive prices on over 30,000 office products. RapidBuyr’s brand promise was to help small and mid-sized businesses grow and save time and money by offering the best deals on business equipment, software, services, cloud applications such as data storage and virtual meeting tools, and office supplies.
Dan was the Creative Director at RapidBuyr. He began by designing the brand personality for the company while also creating the user interface and UX for the website, for both mobile and Web. The brand needed to be unique but also take a back seat to cobranded partners when needed. He headed the creative department that designed and produced daily deals and special promotions to the subscriber base. Dan liaised with marketing and product development, splitting his time between designing promotions and designing and refining the user experience of RapidBuyr online. RapidBuyr was acquired by nCrowd in 2013 and rebranded as CrowdSavings.
