Project Description
Digital Dysfunctions is a sound library created by Chris Grigg, who is best known as a member of Negativland. The Digital Dysfunctions sound library was based on the idea that digital processing makes it possible to absolutely murder sound in lots of new, complex, grating, harsh, organic, electronic, alien, unpredictable ways.
Dan worked directly with Chris to create innovative artwork for the CD packaging that gave a visual indication of “murdering sound”, by “live scanning” an old oscilloscope.
